Job Requirements
- Minimum Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Tahap 2 atau 3 dalam bidang Pendawaian Elektrik / Elektrik Industri / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Possess a valid Electrical Competency Certificate (e.g., PW2 / PW4) recognized by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (if applicable).
- Registered with relevant authorities as required under statutory regulations.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Experience working in plantation, factory, or industrial environment is an added advantage.
Other Requirements
- Willing to work in plantation/remote estate environment.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically fit and able to respond to breakdown calls.
- Possess own transport (if required).
- Willing to work overtime and on standby when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control panels, switchboards, lighting systems, and distribution boards.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on generators, water pumps, motors, and estate machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform corrective repairs promptly to minimize operational downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations in estate buildings, workers’ quarters, clinics, stores, and workshops.
- Ensure all electrical works comply with safety regulations and relevant statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage.
- Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns as required.
- Monitor and maintain backup power supply systems.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of electrical tools and equipment.
- Assist in upgrading and improving estate's electrical infrastructure when required.
