Requirement / Qualification :

1. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

2. Age range 30 years ago above

3. 3–5 years of experience in QC/QA roles in a manufacturing environment (preferably metal stamping & injection molding).

4. Strong knowledge of quality tools: FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, APQP.

5. Proficient in using measurement instruments and gauging techniques.

6. Familiar with ISO/IATF standards.

7. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.

8. Strong leadership and communication skills.

9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability.

10. Attention to detail and high commitment to quality.

12. Capable of handling pressure and making data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities :

1. Report to Asst QA Manager

2. Supervise and coordinate daily QC activities across metal stamping and plastic injection molding lines.

3. Ensure products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications.

4. Oversee in-process and final inspection of parts using tools like calipers, micrometers, CMM, vision systems, etc.

5. Implement sampling plans, SPC, and root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone diagram).

6. Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and audit documentation in line with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 standards.

7. Support internal/external audits and customer visits.

8. Lead and train quality inspectors, ensuring consistent application of procedures and best practices.

9. Evaluate team performance and provide guidance.

10. Investigate and address non-conforming materials and products.

11. Coordinate with production, engineering, and suppliers for corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

12. Initiate quality improvement projects to reduce scrap, rework, and customer complaints.

13. Promote a culture of quality and accountability on the shop floor.

14. Interface with customers on quality issues and corrective action reports.

15. Ensure timely resolution of complaints and product returns

16. Any other responsibility which may be assigned from time to time by superior

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
