Basic Job Description:

The Internal Audit Officer is responsible for supporting the internal audit function by reviewing operational processes, financial records, and internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and established procedures. The role assists in identifying control weaknesses, operational risks, and areas for improvement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting internal audits in accordance with the approved audit plan.
• Review operational processes, documentation, and records to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of supporting documents and reports.
• Identify control gaps, irregularities, or non-compliance issues during audit reviews.
• Prepare basic audit working papers and assist in drafting audit findings and reports.
• Follow up on corrective actions taken by departments or branches to address audit findings.
• Maintain proper audit documentation and records for reference and regulatory purposes.
• Support management in improving internal controls and operational efficiency.

Reporting Line:
Reports to the Internal Audit Manager / Head of Internal Audit.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
