- Attend calls, emails from other agents on cargo arrival notice
- Receive pre-alert through email from sales support and overseas agents
- Monitor shipments (arrival date, time, short landed, survey, missing)
- Transfer and create job information into company in-house system
- Break-bulk console and direct consignments
- Co-ordinate with contractor for airlines and agents cargo clearance
- Correspond with overseas offices on general import inquiries
- Attend to customers’ requests for flight info, cargo, and delivery status, permit, invoice, etc
- Attend to POD requested by overseas and local customers
- Respond query from the Singapore Customs, e.g., Compound, Z02, refund etc
- Prepare and issue invoices and billings to close the jobs
- Filing of documents
- Any ad-hoc duties as may be assigned by the company’s management
Requirements
-At least 1 year relevant experience in freight forwarding
-Proficient in Microsoft Office
-Team player with good attitude and initiative
