About The Role

We are looking for a meticulous QA/QC Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. You will be responsible for ensuring that every part—from complex 5-axis machined components to heavy structural weldments—is manufactured to the precise tolerances our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Precision Inspection: Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of high-precision components using CMM, Vernier calipers, micrometers, and other advanced metrology tools.

• Welding & Fabrication QA: Oversee welding quality control (WPS/PQR) for structural and heavy fabrication, ensuring compliance with international standards.

• QMS Management: Maintain and improve our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System to ensure peak production efficiency and product quality.

• Technical Documentation: Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, and Manufacturing Data Records (MDR).

• Continuous Improvement: Conduct root cause analysis on machining vibrations or surface defects and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to optimize our Hwacheon and Trumpf production lines.

• Client & Supplier Liaison: Act as the technical point of contact for quality audits and discuss technical specifications (GD&T, welding symbols) with customers and sub-contractors.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in a Precision Engineering or Sheet Metal Fabrication environment.

• Technical Skills: * Proficiency in reading complex engineering drawings (GD&T).

  • Familiarity with CNC Machining (Milling/Turning), Laser/Waterjet cutting, and Welding processes.

  • Experience with CMM programming or operation is highly preferred.

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
