DevOps Engineer

Singapore | Contract Position

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps platforms on AWS
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and automation best practices
• Manage containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and Helm
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Monitor and enhance system reliability, observability, and performance using CloudWatch, Splunk, and Datadog
• Support artifact repository and package management using JFrog
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and system issues across multiple technology layers
• Improve developer workflows and enhance overall developer experience
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to drive automation and operational excellence
• Promote DevOps and Software Engineering best practices across the organization

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of strong Software Engineering or DevOps experience
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or .NET
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and Helm
• Minimum 3 years of AWS cloud experience with strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services
• Strong experience with Terraform and CloudFormation
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows and GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with observability and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, and Datadog
• Knowledge of artifact repository management tools such as JFrog
• Strong Linux administration and Shell scripting capabilities
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS, Kubernetes, or related cloud certifications are advantageous
• Experience improving engineering productivity and developer experience
• Passion for automation, DevOps culture, and continuous improvement initiatives

Pay: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
