PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide on-site, remote, telephone and email technical support to the staff and students around the campus.
- Diagnose and solve hardware and software faults to determine issues and recommend the right solution.
- Maintain and monitor existing systems. Install and configure IT hardware and software as and when required to support business and operational needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of processes to maintain a stable network environment.
- Train staff with IT related equipment and software to ensure clarity.
- Assist with project work to grow the technology infrastructure of the Company. Test and evaluate new technology and its suitability for Company’s applicability.
- Order from and maintain good relations with our suppliers for future reference and assistance.
- Provide IT related facilities and equipment for each lecture room for operational needs.
- Maintain and service IT related equipment. Responsible for sending out this equipment for repairs when required to ensure safety and security to users.
- Install, configure, maintain and update all servers/desktop/laptop/thin client/mobile devices, software/hardware for the entire Company - 200+ users.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, track and resolve Help Desk Support tickets to support operational requirements.
- To provide support and maintenance for PABX, Telephony system, CCTV system and simulator hardware and software in MMASB / ALAM to support smooth execution and administration of business and strategic needs.
- Create/maintain technology procedures related documentation and upload/update them using SharePoint for ease of reference.
- Perform installations/maintenance for routers, switches, firewalls, network drives and security appliances including content filters.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3 years of related working experience in relevant IT network/software experience, preferably with working knowledge in learning and SAP/Sharepoint applications.
- Minimum 1 year with PCs/printer/telecommunication hardware and software support experience.
QUALIFICATION:
- Diploma or certificate in IT networking or any other related field or
- SPM with credit in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mathematics.
