We are looking for a proactive and organised Backend Support Assistant Manager to join our new store opening team.
This role will support backend administration and store operations to ensure smooth daily execution, coordination, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Accounts, HR, Cash Room, IT, Logistic and administrative functions.
- Provide backend operational support to sales floor.
- Act as Person-In-Charge in absence of Store Manager when required.
- Work closely with frontline team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Monitor daily sales reconciliation and cash flow.
- Supervise cash room operations and ensure accurate banking procedures.
- Control petty cash, expenses and financial documentation.
- Investigate and report discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure proper handling of disciplinary cases and staff grievances.
- Ensure compliance with labour law and company HR policies.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or related field.
- At least 6 years retail experience with minimum 2 years in supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge in retail operations, cash control and HR administration.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays
