Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and other relevant stakeholders to develop accurate bills of material (BOM) and appropriate labour times for potential projects.
Develop cost estimates and customer quotations while meeting established response time targets.
Maintain and update the company's pricing database to support quoting and business development activities.
Research and analyse the pricing and availability of relevant materials from open market sources.
Work closely with sourcing and engineering to identify and evaluate cost saving opportunities through stocking agreements, alternative materials, and process improvements.
Provide support for other ad-hoc projects and operational activities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Candidates with experience in EMS, cable manufacturing, or semiconductor-related operations are preferred.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in supply chain (NPI or prototype), sourcing, commodity management, cost analysis, or a related function within the EMS or cable manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes; exposure to the semiconductor industry is an added advantage.
Hands-on experience in cost analysis and quotation-related activities.
