JOB HIGHLIGHT
- Join the Materials Management Division, supporting procurement, logistics, and inventory functions.
- Work closely with project, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure smooth material coordination.
- Gain exposure to ISO processes, import shipments, and supplier management within a project-based environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Procurement & Supplier Coordination
- Assist in sourcing and comparing quotations for project and construction materials.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved project requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers on order status, lead times, and material readiness.
- Maintain supplier databases and assist in evaluating supplier performance.
2. Project & Materials Coordination
- Support project teams in aligning procurement and delivery schedules with site progress.
- Coordinate with the warehouse for stock preparation, issuance, and delivery arrangements.
- Track material movement and assist in updating system records to ensure accuracy.
3. Logistics & Import Handling
- Coordinate with drivers and transporters for site deliveries.
- Prepare and verify delivery documentation (Delivery Orders, consignment notes, etc.).
- Support import coordination by preparing commercial invoices and packing lists.
- Follow up on customs clearance and ensure proper filing of import documents.
4. Billing, Documentation & ISO Compliance
- Assist in updating billing and inventory records for completed deliveries.
- Maintain accurate filing of Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders, invoices, and import records.
- Support ISO documentation requirements and internal audit preparation.
- Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and record updates.
Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Preferably 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative coordination.
- Fresh graduate is encourage to apply.
- Good communication, organization, and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of procurement or inventory systems is an advantage.
- Languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months (If performance meet Company requirement, will absorb to Permanent position)
Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
