The Role
We are seeking a Finance & Procurement Specialist to join our team in Paksong. This is a unique fulltime role that blends financial accounting with strategic procurement, including international sourcing. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing the full procurement lifecycle, and ensuring that all expenditures align with operational goals and budget parameters.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
- Record daily cash transactions and maintain journal entries (prepaid, accrual).
- Verify payments against supporting documents and ensure proper authorization.
- Process payroll, including attendance verification and payment preparation.
- Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliation across eight accounts (KIP, USD, THB).
- Prepare monthly financial statements: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Reconcile inventory, fixed assets, sales, accruals, and prepaids.
- Conduct harvesting and processing cost variance analysis.
- Calculate cost of inventory usage and coffee bean production costs (Cherry → Green Bean).
- Prepare management reports with financial insights.
Procurement & Sourcing
- Prepare and submit approval requests for operational costs, capital expenditures, and international procurement contracts.
- Manage international sourcing for agricultural inputs, processing equipment, spare parts, and packaging materials.
- Coordinate import logistics, including Incoterms, shipping documents, customs clearance, and freight coordination.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with local and international suppliers.
- Issue and track purchase orders; reconcile invoices with POs and goods receipt notes.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate landed cost allocation for imported goods.
- Analyze procurement spend against budget and report variances.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or procurement (experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or F&B is a plus).
- Proven experience with international sourcing and import logistics.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (accruals, reconciliations, financial reporting).
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Understanding of Incoterms, import documentation, and customs processes.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written); Lao or Thai language skills are an advantage.
