Key Responsibilities
Café Operations
- Lead the setup of the café team, including recruitment, training, and scheduling of staff.
- Develop and implement SOPs for daily café operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
- Manage relationships with suppliers for ingredients, equipment, and café essentials.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene standards, and service excellence in line with brand values.
- Oversee inventory, cost control, and waste management.
- Ensure consistent product quality and excellent customer service.
- Monitor budgets, daily sales, and operational KPIs.
Business Development
- Create and implement sales strategies to increase café revenue.
- Develop partnerships with corporations, government agencies, schools, and event organizers.
- Organize and manage pop-up sales, booths, catering, and special event services (e.g., weddings,
birthdays, functions).
- Drive new customer acquisition via Grab/food delivery, subscription plans, and loyalty programs.
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and customer retention
initiatives.
- Plan for future café expansion including franchising/licensing opportunities nationwide.
Requirements
- Proven experience in café/restaurant operations management.
- Strong knowledge in staffing, SOPs, inventory, and supplier management.
- Experience in sales, business development, or F&B marketing is highly desirable.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance day-to-day operations and long-term growth.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results under pressure.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bayan Lepas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
