Position Overview
The Senior Equipment Engineer will lead and oversee all aspects of equipment operations, maintenance, and asset management within Eastfound Malaysia Sdn Bhd. This role is critical in ensuring the optimal functionality, efficiency, and reliability of machinery and equipment to support the company’s logistics and storage solutions production. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, develop maintenance programs, and foster a safety-first culture.

Job Responsibilities:

• Equipment Design & Development: Utilize CAD software to design and develop new production equipment to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
• Maintenance & Optimization: Implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure the smooth operation of existing equipment and continuously optimize performance.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to the production team, troubleshoot equipment-related issues, and ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
• Project Management: Lead equipment installation and commissioning projects, coordinating resources across departments to ensure timely completion.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all equipment complies with company and industry safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in equipment engineering; experience in material handling equipment or warehouse solutions is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD software, project management skills, and knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Others: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
