A growing tech company is seeking a Software Developer to join their team in Malaysia, focusing on building scalable, secure, and high-performing web-based accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web-based accounting applications according to user requirements and specifications.

• Write clean, reusable, and high-quality code, ensuring timely delivery of project tasks and sprint goals.

• Collaborate with team members on shared modules and provide constructive feedback.

• Act as PIC/Project Owner for assigned tasks, liaising with stakeholders to implement new requests and resolve issues.

• Gather and act on client feedback to deliver software that meets or exceeds expectations.

• Update project progress in JIRA and ensure adherence to deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, MVC, HTML, JavaScript, React, REST APIs.

• Database skills with Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures).

• Understanding of accounting principles and business software requirements.

• Proficiency in IIS, Git, software development lifecycle, system design, and frameworks/libraries.

• Good communication skills in Mandarin/Cantonese & English.

• Self-motivated, disciplined, team-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).

• Skills in designing, optimizing, and scaling Microsoft SQL Server.
