About the Role

We are hiring for a Hong Kong-based technology company expanding its presence in Malaysia.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex enterprise-level systems within a

collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) — from

requirements gathering and analysis to design, development, testing, deployment, and

maintenance.

• Perform system analysis and design (SA&D), translating business needs into technical

tasks and functional specifications.

• Develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications aligned with business and

technical requirements.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX/UI designers, QA teams, and other IT personnel

to deliver quality solutions.

• Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) assessments to evaluate new technologies and their

feasibility.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to developers and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements, enhancing performance and user

satisfaction.

• Deliver timely technical support, resolving issues and responding to stakeholder

inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2–10 years of hands-on experience in software development and system

analysis.

• Proven expertise in:

o Backend: Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring JPA, JWT, OpenAPI

o Frontend: React (Next.js)

o Database & Tools: Redis, MariaDB, Docker, Linux

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, JIRA) and automated testing tools is an

advantage.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Prior experience in government-related projects or system integration (SI&I) is

advantageous.

• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a

plus.

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM16,000.00 per month
