Provide day-to-day maintenance of business software solutions including technical support and development. Analyze system requirements and develop new solutions where required.
Develop and implement new software solutions that support business functions such as sales order, purchasing, planning, finance, D2C and the 3PL providers ensuring timescales and system expectations are met
Maintain existing business software solutions. This includes improvements and re-developments
Collaborate with wider IT function and business functions to ensure all internally developed system training is provided and changes are communicated
Provide both bespoke and ad-hoc reporting services to the business generating reports and raw data in line with user’s requirements
Work with the wider IT Development team to prioritise incoming maintenance and development requests
Job Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent, with minimum 5 years’ experience in retail background, and using MSSQL, Sybase, Delphi, C#, XML and FTP
Working knowledge of HTML, Java Script and web technologies is preferable
A minimum of 1 year working with reporting tools
Proactive problem-solver, positive team player, good interpersonal skills & adapt to multi-cultural corporate setting with direct users and external agencies / suppliers
Strong communication skills with the ability to build solid internal working relationships
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
