Full Time System Engineer (Virtualization Team) Jobs, in ACME Communications San Po Kong - Ricebowl

Responsibilities and Requirement:

• Manages and documents system events to ensure the integrity of the system.
• Proactively perform performance tuning, availability monitoring and capacity monitoring on the related server platform.
• Deep technical knowledge on the VMware Hardware and Software infrastructure and the related Windows server platform.
• Performs and support Disaster recovery drill for each requested business entity.
• Analyzes, logs, tracks, and resolves hardware/software matters pertaining to networking, connectivity issues, printers, servers, and applications to meet business needs.
• Administrates and implement VMware vCentre – Policy-based Management & Automation
• Supports the installation and testing of the necessary software and hardware, including server clustering.
• Degree holder with 3 years+ relevant experience in Virtualization Software, VMware, Blades, Microsoft operating systems in an enterprise wide computing environment.
• Hands on skill in utilizing tools and utilities such as Windows Server OSes, VMware tools such as VMware ESX/ESXi server and management, VMware vSphere Admin, vCenter Server, vCentre Orchestrator, Capacity IQ , vMotion, Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
• Familiar with EMC SAN Storage is an advantage.
• Must be Holder of VCP & MCSE
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin preferred
