We are seeking an experienced L1 / L2 Support to provide production support for Core Banking applications and ensure smooth operation and implementation of application releases.
Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 production support for 24x7 Core Banking applications.
- Coordinate and support infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Manage implementations of new application releases following release management best practices.
- Collaborate with Peer Application Teams, Infrastructure, Vendors, Security, and Change teams to provide seamless business support.
- Respond to production issues promptly in accordance with SLA.
- Enhance existing support processes to maintain/improve service levels and quality.
- Work with Java J2EE applications, Unix, SQL, and related monitoring tools for L2 support.
- Learn and apply programming skills and system knowledge to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1–3 years (L1) or minimum 2 years (L2) experience in IT production/application support, preferably in banking/financial services.
- Basic understanding of core banking and banking operations.
- Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Elasticsearch, and Grafana.
- Knowledge of Java, Unix commands, SQL, job scheduling, MQ setup, and CI/CD processes (L2).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
Nice-to-have:
- Prior experience with Sunline Core Banking.
- Knowledge of incident management processes.
Pay: $4,800.00 - $6,000.00 per month
License/Certification:
- work authorization to work in Singapore (Required)
