Full Stack Developer

Location: KL Malaysia

The Role:

Key Responsibilities

Development & Delivery

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using AEM (Sites, Components,

Templates, Workflows)

• Develop backend services and APIs using Java (Spring / Spring Boot)

• Develop and enhance frontend features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Work closely with UX/UI designs to implement responsive and accessible web

components

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, development,

testing, deployment, and support

Technical Leadership

• Act as a systems integration core SME to initiate the technical discussion with

others tech SME

• Provide design direction, and code reviews to team members

• Ensure best practices in coding standards, security, performance, and

maintainability

System Integration

• Design and implement system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, or

middleware

• Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams for system connectivity

and data flow

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues

Collaboration

• Work closely with product owners, analysts, architects, and tester teams

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Support project planning, estimation, and technical risk assessment

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• ~5 years overall software development experience

• Strong development experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• At least 2 years hands-on experience with AEM (AEM Sites, Components,

OSGi, Sling Models)

• At least 1 year hands-on Java development experience

• Experience in system integration (RESTful APIs, web services)

• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Good to Have

• Experience with AEM Dispatcher, AEM Cloud Service, or AEM as a Cloud Service

• Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, Angular)

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

• Prior experience leading junior developers

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Comfortable working independently and leading discussions

• Proactive, responsible, and delivery-focused
