Job Description:

Responsible for machine tool setup and trial operation

Responsible for the installation, setup, trial operation, and parameter verification of precision machining equipment to ensure that the machine tools meet production and accuracy requirements.

Responsible for setting machining parameters

Set machining parameters such as spindle speed, feed rate, depth of cut, and other relevant parameters based on product drawings, process documents, and machining requirements.

Responsible for first-piece trial machining and confirmation

Carry out first-piece machining for new products, product changeovers, or adjusted equipment, and cooperate with inspection personnel to confirm whether dimensions, geometric tolerances, and surface roughness meet requirements.

Responsible for tooling, fixtures, and cutting tool adjustment

Install, adjust, and calibrate cutting tools, fixtures, measuring tools, and auxiliary devices to ensure reliable clamping, stable machining, and qualified accuracy.

Responsible for equipment accuracy inspection

Regularly inspect machine tool accuracy, spindle operation, guide rail condition, positioning accuracy, and other key items. Handle or report abnormalities in a timely manner.

Responsible for resolving on-site machining abnormalities

Analyze and improve problems occurring during machining, such as dimensional deviation, surface defects, vibration marks, abnormal tool wear, and other issues.

Responsible for process optimization

Based on actual production conditions, propose optimization suggestions for machining processes, cutting parameters, clamping methods, etc., to improve machining efficiency and product qualification rate.

Responsible for daily equipment maintenance

Carry out machine cleaning, lubrication, tightening, rust prevention, and routine maintenance according to equipment inspection and maintenance requirements.

Responsible for filling in setup records and data

Complete machine tool setup records, first-piece confirmation records, abnormality handling records, and related technical documents in a timely manner to ensure data integrity and traceability.

Cooperate with production and quality management

Work closely with process, production, quality inspection, equipment maintenance, and other related positions to ensure the smooth completion of production tasks.

Responsible for safe operation

Strictly comply with workshop safety operating procedures, correctly use personal protective equipment, and prevent equipment and personal accidents.

Participate in technical training and guidance

Provide training and guidance to operators on equipment operation, parameter adjustment, simple fault judgment, and related skills.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Machining, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 3-5 years experience in CNC machine setup, machine commissioning, or precision machining processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of machining parameters, tooling, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and process documents.
• Familiar with machine troubleshooting and process improvement.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance and workshop safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Mandarin speaking ability is an added advantage to support communication with Mandarin-speaking colleagues, operators, or documentation.
• Able to work independently and handle tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
