What you'll be doing

• Set up, operate and maintain Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly equipment to produce high-quality printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies
• Perform solder paste printing, component placement, reflow soldering and other SMT processes
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure product quality and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Maintain detailed production records and documentation
• Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise production processes and improve efficiency
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced team members

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an SMT Technician or in a similar role within the electronics manufacturing industry
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of SMT processes, equipment and quality control procedures
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics and work instructions
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve production issues
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Computer literacy, including experience with production/quality control software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
