JOB REQUIREMENT

• Assist the accident investigation team to investigate the status and cause of each accident and establish measures to prevent similar accidents.
• Ensure the training and education of all personnel is being carried out to an acceptable standard.
• Perform inspection such as hazard identification, risk assessment and determination control measures to ensure that safe work practices are implemented at site.
• To register to JKKP for jobsite register under his name.
• To prepare Safety & Health Report on monthly basis.
• Promote the concept that Safety and Health are a line responsibility
• Notify sub-contractors to remedy unsafe activities or work conditions and if any the do not comply, suspend work with acknowledgement by Project Manager or prohibit the use of the facilities until rectifications is confirmed.
• Assist auditors visiting audit the safety and health management and strive to reflect the auditing results in the safety and health management.
• Advise on safety legislation and procedures.
• To become secretary to the safety and health committee.
• To arrange safety committee meeting
• Monitor the week inspection report prepare by site safety supervisor.
• Liaise with relevant authorities on occupational safety and health matter.
• Any and all other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor Degree, Diploma, Certificate qualification in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) or any other related courses.
• Familiar with the Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) and Factory and Machinery Act (FMA).
• ISO 9001/OHSAS 18001 standard requirements.
• Must possess a valid Green Book/Yellow Book
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (added advantage)

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
