Operations Supervisor, Transport (Ulu Tiram, Johor)

What you'll do

• Plan driver routes via system or Excel and monitor deliveries to ensure on-time dispatch and stock accuracy during loading and unloading.
• Manage drivers and attendants, ensuring full compliance with safety standards, driving schedules, and company policies.
• Oversee truck maintenance and upkeep maintaining accurate records and monitoring schedules to keep all vehicles roadworthy.
• Ensure compliance with applicable transportation laws and regulations, including licensing requirements and vehicle weight limits.
• Provide actionable feedback to Assistant Managers to support continuous distribution improvements.
• Manage the transportation budget and identify opportunities to optimise costs without compromising service levels.
• Maintain complete transportation records and documentation including driver logs, inspection reports, Delivery Orders (DOs), and invoices for the Billing department.
• Respond promptly to delays, accidents, or mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and review truck safety and performance KPIs with Assistant Managers to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with the Fleet Manager on fleet repair and maintenance, inspections, accident management, and all fleet-related matters.

What we're looking for

• Education; Minimum SPM / STPM or Diploma; relevant working experience is equally considered.
• Industry knowledge; Strong knowledge of last-mile distribution, transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Availability; Able to commit to 5.5 working days per week, including willingness to work overtime on weekends and public holidays when required.
• Experience; Prior supervisory or warehousing experience is an added advantage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
