Role Purpose
Responsible for managing and overseeing all construction and installation activities for assigned systems or disciplines. The role ensures that works are executed in accordance with the approved IFC drawings, project specifications, method statements, and safety standards, while meeting project schedule, quality, and compliance requirements up to testing and commissioning (PICO stage).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise installation activities for first, second, and third-fix works across designated work fronts.
- Oversee daily site execution to ensure full compliance with approved IFC drawings and Method Statements.
- Manage and coordinate the daily activities of contractors and subcontractors to ensure milestone adherence.
- Verify contractor resource availability, including manpower, materials, and equipment on-site.
- Lead routine site inspections to enforce QA/QC procedures and project workmanship standards.
- Enforce site safety regulations, including PPE compliance and Permit to Work (PTW) protocols.
- Approve site documentation, including Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and daily progress reports.
- Resolve technical clashes and site constraints through coordination with HSE, Planning, and Design teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil or related discipline).
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant site experience in construction and installation projects.
- Familiarity with IFC drawings, method statements, and construction practices.
- Knowledge of QA/QC processes and HSE requirements.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferably local Sarawakian.
