Drive sales and business development for occupational health and safety products range: Aviation tools, rivets, drills, grinders , abrasives, tapes & adhesives , Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs
Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities to establish & cultivate strong business relationship with customers
Manage and expand product range and usage in the assigned territory for sales growth
Serve as technical advisor to customers, offering solutions tailored to their specific needs and requirements
Conduct in-depth product demonstration, training and presentation to help customers discover and understand products/services and benefits
Manage customer relationships throughout the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction and post-sale support
Evaluate client application requirements and provide solutions
Responsible for new accounts & new product development as well as maintaining existing customers
Conduct regular visits/meetings with customers and attend verbal & written inquiries
Meet or exceed established sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis
Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry regulations to stay informed and adjust sales strategies
Attend trade shows, industry events and customer meetings to expand the customer base and keep up-to-date with industry trends
Prepare & submit quotes, proposals, tenders or any technical documentation including monthly business review reports & other management reports that are required.
Job Requirements:
Preferably with a Diploma or Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related technical field;
2-3 years experience in sales/business development preferably in the Automotive / Aerospace industries or Electrical and Electronics Industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and sales skills;
Proficient in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English
Ability to explain technical product details and benefits to both technical and non-technical customers;
Highly motivated and results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets;
A proactive and customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills;
Aggressive, highly independent, able to work under minimal supervision & self-organized.
Prior working experience in occupational health & safety would be an advantage.
