Key Responsibilities
- Measure and mark floor areas accurately
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying underlayment
- Cut tiles to fit around corners, edges, pipes, and fixtures
- Lay tiles according to design patterns and specifications
- Apply adhesive, grout, and sealants
- Ensure tiles are level, aligned, and evenly spaced
- Repair or replace damaged tiles
- Read blueprints and construction drawings
- Follow workplace safety standards and use protective equipment
- Maintain tools and equipment
