Our client is a leading telecommunications and digital infrastructure organisation driving large-scale connectivity and technology initiatives across Malaysia.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to manage enterprise Linux infrastructure in a high-availability data centre environment.

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, including Red Hat and CentOS
• Perform system updates, patch management, and security hardening
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems
• Implement and manage monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Monitor system performance, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot incidents
• Work with hypervisors such as RHEV Hypervisor and VMware
• Create and manage virtual machines and maintain virtualised environments
• Diagnose and resolve system and application-level issues
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive improvements
• Support DevOps automation initiatives and infrastructure operations

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience as a Linux Engineer or Linux Administrator
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, including Red Hat and CentOS
• Strong shell scripting skills
• Experience in DevOps practices and automation tools such as Ansible or Jenkins
• Experience with on-premises or physical servers
• Hands‑on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud
• Experience with virtualisation technologies such as RHEV Hypervisor or VMware
• Experience supporting enterprise Linux infrastructure in data centre or production environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Familiarity with automation and infrastructure management practices
• Exposure to DevOps pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code environments
• Experience supporting large‑scale enterprise or telecom infrastructure environments
