Primary job functions:

1. Process Optimization:

• Analyze and optimize adhesive manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement innovative solutions.

1. Quality Control:

• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure that adhesive products meet or exceed quality standards.

• Develop and implement process controls to maintain consistent product quality.

• Handling and investigate IE notification within the required timeframe

• Work as a team to identify the root cause and actions for customer complaint related to process/ manufacturing defect

• Equipment Management:

  • Oversee and maintain adhesive production equipment, ensuring proper functioning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules.

  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and upgrades.

1. Data Analysis:

• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.

• Utilize statistical tools to monitor key process parameters.

1. Scale-up and Technology Transfer:

• Support the scale-up of new adhesive formulations from the laboratory to full-scale production.

• Facilitate the technology transfer process, ensuring a smooth transition from development to manufacturing.

1. Safety Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements within the production environment.

• Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

1. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, procedures, and changes.

• Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

1. Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, Maintenance, and Production, to achieve common goals.

• Provide technical expertise and support to various departments

1. Training:

• Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and changes to existing procedures.

• Develop training materials as needed.

1. Design process for new projects.

2. Involve in improvement projects.

3. Commissioning of new production lines.

4. Machine performance verification.

Education & Experience 

•  Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
