We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office on a full-time basis. This role is responsible for supporting the firm’s digital strategy through effective application development, database management and DevOps automation. The successful candidate will work closely with cross functional teams in both Singapore and Australia offices.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

• Writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications.
• Involvement in application and web development and for the firm’s digital strategy.
• Creating views, functions, and stored procedures.
• Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
• Maintain and upgrade existing applications.
• Write DevOps and Automation Code/Scripts.
• Provide timely updates for production status and progress of issue resolution.
• Ensuring all internal processes and procedures are adhered to.

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field
• High level of English proficiency. Translation skill is preferable, but not mandatory.
• Preferably 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• A good team player who can work independently, with good communication skills and ability to deal tactfully with people at all levels.
• Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and deal with high volumes of work.
