Main purpose of this position is to deliver end-to-end solutions focused on ERP Financial Systems, with a strong emphasis on JD Edwards Financials, including integrations and migrations from legacy or third-party ERP platforms for the company.
This role requires a dynamic individual with proven experience in JD Edwards Financial modules who can engage with stakeholders, gather and analyze business and financial requirements, support system configuration, and lead data migration and integration initiatives across multiple systems.
The Platform Consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Operations, Engineering, and external clients) to ensure successful ERP implementations, system integrations, and transformation projects.Key accountabilities
Key Accountabilities
- Requirements Gathering – Take a lead role in workshops with internal and external key stakeholders to identify requirements and define the agreed scope of the project,
- Functional Lead - Act as an internal consultant, co-ordinator and liaison between the various parties in the development / configuration build stage of the solution.
- JDE Configuration Implementation – For specific solutions implement project’s requirements in collaboration with Global Product Teams.
- Systems Integration – Deliver Paper Mapping documentations describing systems integration between customers and internal systems. Implement requirements within integration solutions.
- Documentation – Provide high-quality documentation detailing systems requirements for the project and following the company’s standards.
- Testing & Quality Assurance – Prepare test plans and conduct Systems Integration Testing (SIT) ensuring that the end-to-end data exchanges between organisations and systems works as it should, and that the internal systems are correctly configured to meet the documented requirements. Support users community when performing Users Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Reporting & Dash Boarding – Able to configure BI reporting tools (Cognos) or dashboards (PowerBI) to provide accurate data for business activities.
- Other Applications – Gather requirements and build functional solutions for other applications (slotting, labor management, invoicing,…) connected to OMS & WMS.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
- 6-8 years as Platform Consultants or Business Analyst.
- Concrete experience in JDE Financials Module.
- Inventory management/costing.
- Good knowledge of the IT Project life.
- Proven analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong Documentation skills
- Tenacious approach to problem solving
- Paper mapping experience in Integration activities.
May require flexibility to work with stakeholders in different time zones.
