Job Overview
We are seeking a high-judgement Technical Program Manager (TPM) to own one product line end-to-end. This role is not administrative or meeting-focused. You will be responsible for translating ambiguous business requirements into clear engineering execution plans, ensuring alignment across teams, and driving delivery without adding process overhead. You will act as the connective tissue between business stakeholders and engineering teams — enabling speed, clarity, and execution discipline.

Key Responsibilities
1) Product Line Ownership
- Full end-to-end accountability for one product line (scope, sequencing, timelines, and stakeholder alignment).
- Partner closely with engineering leads while ensuring execution remains unblocked and aligned.
2) Business-to-Technical Translation
- Convert high-level business requests into structured specifications.
- Produce clear, actionable documentation engineers can directly implement.
- Break down features into logical epics and sub-tasks (backend, frontend, QA as needed).
3) Execution & Unblocking
- Identify and resolve dependencies, ambiguities, and cross-team blockers.
- Facilitate decision-making when trade-offs arise.
- Ensure teams move forward without waiting on unnecessary escalation.
4) Specification & Planning
- Write detailed specs with clear scope boundaries.
- Maintain structured Linear issue trees.
- Prevent scope creep and ensure alignment across teams.
5) Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate across backend, frontend, QA, and platform teams.
- Establish lightweight async-first workflows.
- Ensure clarity without relying on excessive meetings.
6) Progress Visibility
- Provide concise written weekly updates (what shipped, risks, next priorities).
- Maintain visibility through documentation, backlog review, and PR tracking.
- Focus on outcomes rather than meeting-based reporting.

Required Qualifications
1) 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Product Management, Engineering Program Management, or similar roles.
2) Proven experience shipping real production products.
3) Strong ability to read technical documentation, PRs, and engineering backlogs.
4) Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
5) Excellent written communication skills.
6) Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity independently.
7) Comfortable working in AI-augmented development environments.

Preferred Qualifications
1) Experience in fast-paced, AI-driven or startup environments.
2) Familiarity with tools such as Linear, Notion, Slack, GitHub, Figma.
3) Experience working across multiple time zones (SGT, IST, TW).
4) Strong judgement in prioritization and scope management.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
