We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead and oversee our data centre operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mission-critical infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, driving infrastructure improvements, and leading the data centre team to support business continuity and growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall data centre operations, infrastructure, and facilities management.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, security, and performance of all data centre systems and services.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices for data centre management.
- Oversee server, storage, network, power, cooling, and environmental systems within the data centre.
- Manage capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, preventive maintenance, and disaster recovery planning.
- Lead incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and service recovery processes.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor operational KPIs, compliance standards, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage budgeting, procurement, and cost optimization initiatives for data centre operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the data centre operations team.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and industry standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in data centre operations, infrastructure management, or critical facilities management.
- At least 5 years and above of managerial or leadership experience.
- Strong technical knowledge in enterprise servers, networking, storage, virtualization, backup systems, and data centre infrastructure.
- Experience managing mission-critical or large-scale data centre environments.
- Familiar with IT governance, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery processes.
- Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-availability environment.
Pay: RM20,000.00 - RM30,000.00 per month
