About Wee Rays
Wee Rays Child Development Center is an early intervention and child development centre dedicated to supporting children with developmental, behavioural, emotional, learning, and social challenges through structured, evidence-informed intervention programs.
We are expanding our multidisciplinary team and are looking for passionate, energetic, and growth-oriented individuals who genuinely enjoy working with children and families.
Therapist / Interventionist will work directly with children in one-to-one and small group settings to support developmental growth across areas such as:
- Emotional regulation
- Executive functioning
- Attention and engagement
- Communication and language
- Social interaction
- Academic readiness
- Behaviour management
- Independence and adaptive functioning
Training and supervision will be provided. Fresh graduates with strong passion and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-to-one and small-group intervention sessions
- Implement individualized intervention goals and structured teaching plans
- Support children with developmental and behavioural challenges in educational and therapeutic settings
- Assist children in improving:
- Attention and focus
- Emotional regulation
- Social communication
- Play skills
- Academic readiness
- Behavioural flexibility
- Executive functioning skills
- Prepare teaching materials and therapy resources
- Conduct observations and maintain session notes/progress documentation
- Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, educators, and parents
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, workshops, and case discussions
- Maintain a professional, ethical, and child-centred approach at all times
- Support implementation of structured routines and positive behavioural approaches
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children and families
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in:
- Psychology
- Early Childhood Education
- Special Education
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Therapy
- Counselling
- Education
- Child Development
- Related fields
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong interest in child development and early intervention
- Good command of English
- Able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Patient, energetic, creative, and emotionally regulated
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Experience
Experience with children with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Speech and language delays
- Emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Learning difficulties
- Sensory regulation challenges
