Job responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the library, ensuring an organised, accessible, and engaging learning environment
- Organise and curate resources to ensure ease of access for students and staff
- Conduct regular audits of library inventory and maintain accurate records of all materials and transactions
- Assist students and staff in conducting research, locating relevant resources, and developing information literacy skills
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into curriculum delivery and project-based learning
- Design, coordinate, and implement library programmes that promote reading culture and library engagement (e.g. reading campaigns, book fairs, storytelling sessions)
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, Information Management, Education, or related field
- Experience in a school or educational environment is an added advantage
- Familiarity with library management systems and database handling
- Strong organisational, administrative, and data management skills
Pay: From RM2,800.00 per month
