岗位职责

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Staffing
  • Source, interview, and onboard skilled workers, engineers, and site staff.
  • Coordinate manpower allocation across multiple projects.
  • Employee Relations
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Foster positive workplace culture and team morale.
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, safety regulations, and MOM guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and work permits.
  • Payroll & Benefits
  • Administer salaries, overtime, allowances, and retention bonuses.
  • Manage insurance, medical benefits, and statutory contributions (CPF, SOCSO).
  • Training & Development
  • Organize safety training, skills upgrading, and leadership programs.
  • Support career progression pathways for site staff and professionals.
  • Performance Management
  • Conduct appraisals, track KPIs, and recommend promotions.
  • Align employee goals with project and company objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Diploma/Degree in HR Management, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in HR, preferably in construction or engineering.
  • Knowledge: Employment Act, workplace safety regulations, foreign worker policies.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational ability.
  • Tools: HRIS systems, payroll software, Microsoft Office.

Challenges in Construction HR

  • High Turnover: Managing short-term contracts and project-based employment.
  • Foreign Workforce: Handling work permits, quotas, and cultural integration.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensuring training and adherence to strict site regulations.
  • Coordination: Balancing office HR policies with on-site realities.
