Contract Document Controller – Engineering Project

8.15am – 5.30pm | Mon–Fri
6-Month Contract (Project-based, renewable subject to project needs)
Up to $5,500/month

Why This Role?

This is a key role in a fast-paced engineering project environment where documentation accuracy directly supports project delivery and execution. You will be part of a structured team ensuring all project records, technical documents, and submissions are properly managed and controlled throughout the project lifecycle.

This role suits individuals who are organised, detail-focused, and enjoy structured coordination work within technical projects.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage and support end-to-end document control activities, including:

• Maintain and update all project documentation in line with document control procedures
• Track issuance, revision, and distribution of technical documents and records
• Ensure proper version control, labelling, and document accuracy at all times
• Manage document registers, transmittals, submission logs, and tracking systems
• Coordinate document submissions and updates with project teams, engineers, consultants, contractors, and site personnel
• Monitor document status and follow up on outstanding approvals or revisions
• Maintain organised softcopy and hardcopy filing systems for audit readiness
• Support project handover documentation, including final records and compiled submissions
• Assist in preparing documentation reports, summaries, and submission packages
• Ensure compliance with project documentation standards and requirements
