Overview
We are seeking a warm, professional, and service-focused MIT (Management Trainee) to be the welcoming face of our restaurant. You will manage guest, ensure excellent dining experiences, and provide frontline support. you will also assist in standard service duties such as order-taking and clearing tables. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hospitality and creating lasting guest impressions.
Key Responsibilities
Front line service (e.g. taking orders, serving, clearing tables)
Ensure tables are properly set up and maintained
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth delivery of orders
Maintain high level of customer service
Manage, direct and co-ordinate all operation-related activities in a proficient and pleasant method
Monitor opening and closing duties of the outlet
Ensure all policies and procedures of the company are followed accordingly
Actively involved in staff counselling and purpose to management on course of disciplinary action, including but not limited to, termination of employment
Duties includes Supervisor and Manager duties and may rotate task within Restaurant
Communicate daily and act as liaison between operations staff and management
Adhoc duties if necessary assigned by the Manager from time to time
Requirements
Minimum Higher Nitec or Diploma in Hospitality or any related field
At least 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, courteous, and able to handle high-pressure situations
