Job Description
Prepare cake batters, fillings, creams, frostings, and other baking ingredients according to standard recipes.
Bake cakes and related products with proper portioning and presentation.
Assist in cake assembling, frosting, decorating, and finishing.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and quality of all products.
Support daily production planning and ensure products are completed on time.
Monitor ingredient stock levels and report shortages or wastage.
Assist with packing and preparation for delivery or outlet transfer when required.
Manage the sales of pastry, cakes and cookies at the counter.
Managing the cashier, banking in of daily sales and accountable for credits and cash tips, if necessary.
Manage customers’ enquiries and request
Maintain hygiene, safety and standards by follow the organization’s personal, food and beverage hygiene standards.
Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
