Are you passionate about industry trends and technology, and skilled at crafting compelling stories? We're looking for an experienced Senior Writer to join the team at a leading regional trade publication serving professionals across Asia Pacific.

In this role, you'll produce high-quality content that engages a knowledgeable, industry-savvy readership. Your ability to translate complex topics — from food science and nutrition to processing technology and regulatory trends — into clear, engaging editorial will be central to what you do.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write accurate, insightful articles for print and digital formats.
• Conduct interviews with industry thought leaders, innovators, and suppliers to bring fresh perspectives to our content.
• Collaborate with editors, contributors, and industry experts to develop compelling stories.
• Translate technical concepts into content that is accessible and relevant to food industry professionals.
• Contribute to digital platforms including the website, newsletters, and social media.
• Stay informed on industry developments and emerging trends to inspire fresh editorial ideas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a writer, preferably in trade, technical, or specialised publications.
• Strong background or genuine interest in food science, food technology, nutrition, or related fields.
• Exceptional research, writing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience with digital media platforms — web, social media, and digital publications — is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
