About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading organisation to hire an experienced ICT Infrastructure Engineer to support and optimise enterprise cloud infrastructure and services.

This role is suited for cloud engineers with strong operational support experience across AWS and Azure environments. You will work closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams to ensure cloud platform reliability, performance, security, and operational efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a large-scale cloud environment supporting mission-critical enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Support

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based infrastructure and services across compute, storage, networking, and security domains
• Monitor cloud platform health, performance, availability, and security posture
• Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure operational stability

Cloud Operations & Optimisation

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across cloud infrastructure and operational processes
• Support automation initiatives to improve system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Participate in cloud solution planning, implementation, and optimisation activities

Security & Compliance

• Implement and maintain cloud security controls, governance standards, and operational best practices
• Support compliance initiatives and ensure protection of cloud resources and enterprise data

Collaboration & Documentation

• Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex operational issues
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and cloud support best practices
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and operational best practices

Requirements

Technical Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent practical experience will also be considered
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, Cloud Support Engineer, or similar role
• Strong experience supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure environments

Cloud Platform Expertise

Hands-on experience with:

• AWS
• Azure
• Cloud-native infrastructure and networking services

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) concepts and tools such as Terraform
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash is advantageous

Security & Operations

• Understanding of cloud security principles, governance controls, and operational best practices
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support capabilities

Preferred Experience

• More than 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or cloud support environments
• Experience supporting both Linux and Windows operating systems
