We are currently seeking a Senior Interface Engineer/ Interface Coordinator to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

About The Job

The Senior Interface Engineer is responsible for managing technical interfaces across various disciplines, ensuring seamless coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and project stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise to mitigate risks and enhance project execution.

• Develop and implement interface management processes to ensure efficient communication between project teams, clients, and third parties.
• Identify, track, and resolve interface issues between disciplines, subcontractors, and vendors to avoid delays and design conflicts.
• Coordinate interface meetings and maintain interface registers, ensuring alignment with project schedules and requirements.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical consistency across different project phases.
• Provide guidance on interface management best practices and risk mitigation strategies.
• Review and approve interface documents, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and construction teams to align design deliverables with project execution plans.
• Support change management processes related to interface modifications.
  
  
  

About you:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering, interface management, or project coordination within the oil & gas, energy, or petrochemical industry.
• Strong understanding of engineering workflows, construction interfaces, and multi-discipline coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with interface management tools and systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural project environment.
