Role: Test Automation Engineer.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Job Description:

The Test Automation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications through the design, development, and execution of automated and manual tests. This role involves building and maintaining robust automation frameworks, integrating testing into the CI/CD pipeline, and collaborating closely with development and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

The Test Automation Engineer will leverage expertise in various testing methodologies and tools to cover UI, API, and mobile application testing, as well as contribute to documentation and CI/CD automation efforts.

Scope Requirement:

Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites for web and mobile platforms using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Playwright, primarily programmed in Java.

Implement and utilize the Cucumber framework to define and execute behavior-driven test scenarios that are clear and understandable to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Develop and enhance test automation frameworks to improve efficiency, scalability, and maintainability of test assets.

Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other QA engineers to analyze requirements, define test strategies, create detailed test plans, and write effective test cases.

Execute automated and manual tests across different environments and analyze results to identify, document, and track software defects.

Perform various types of testing, including functional UI testing, API testing, mobile application testing, and contribute to documentation testing efforts.

Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to enable frequent and reliable releases.

Monitor and maintain the health of automated test suites within the CI/CD system, troubleshooting failures and ensuring test stability.

Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts and contribute to improving overall test automation practices and standards.
