Job Description

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IBM Master Data Management (MDM) Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise master data management solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in IBM MDM technologies, data integration, data governance, and enterprise data management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain IBM MDM solutions and integrations
  • Configure and customize IBM Master Data Management applications based on business requirements
  • Develop and manage data models, match and merge rules, and data quality processes
  • Integrate IBM MDM with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and middleware platforms
  • Support data migration, cleansing, validation, and synchronization activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and data-related issues
  • Collaborate with business users, architects, and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements
  • Participate in testing, deployment, and production support activities
  • Prepare technical documentation and support materials

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM Master Data Management (IBM MDM)
  • Experience with MDM implementation, configuration, and customization
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management principles
  • Experience with SQL, databases, ETL processes, and data integration tools
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and web services
  • Experience with Java/J2EE technologies and enterprise integration concepts
  • Familiarity with IBM WebSphere Application Server and middleware technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with IBM InfoSphere, DataStage, or related IBM data management tools
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and API integrations
  • Experience working in enterprise environments such as banking, healthcare, telecom, or government sectors
  • IBM certifications will be an added advantage

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in IBM MDM development and support
