About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Assistant based in Kuala Lumpur to support our growing international team. This role combines employee engagement, talent development, and executive support responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to shape culture across multiple regions while working closely with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Plan and execute team-building activities, celebrations, and cultural events to foster a vibrant workplace atmosphere
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee morale, belonging, and cross-team collaboration
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive office environment that reflects company values
Internship Program Management
- End-to-end management of the Future Star internship program, including recruitment, onboarding, and development
- Build and maintain partnerships with top-tier universities across Malaysia and the region
- Design structured learning paths and mentorship programs to maximize intern growth and conversion
- Track program metrics and continuously improve the internship experience
University & External Relations
- Serve as the primary liaison with university career centers, faculty, and student organizations
- Negotiate and manage MOUs and partnership agreements with educational institutions
- Represent the company at campus events, career fairs, and industry forums
Executive Support (Singapore)
- Provide administrative support to Singapore-based leadership, including calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting arrangements.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for senior management
- Act as a bridge between regional teams and headquarters, ensuring smooth communication flow
What We're Looking For
- Excellent project management skills: ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
- Outgoing and energetic personality: ability to connect with people and bring positive energy to the workplace
- Strong communication skills: fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other regional languages is a plus
- Cultural sensitivity: ability to work comfortably in a multicultural and cross-timezone environment, with sensitivity to different working styles
- Experience in university relations: experience working with academic institutions or running campus programs is highly desirable
- Flexibility and adaptability: willingness to travel occasionally within the region and adapt to changing priorities
