Job Overview:

Provide leadership and direction for the day to day activities and planning for the Assembly department operations
Manage and evaluate daily operations liaising with internal GLS staffs, pickers and optimize DC operations
Developing, coaching and disciplining staffs
Managing department operations KPI’s and ensuring targets are met and implement continuous improvements to the processes and systems
Ensuring Health, Safety Security and SOP’s requirements and procedures are understood, implemented and compiled by all staffs and external contractors

Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth assembly operations and resolve transporter issues
Plan and monitor picking productivity and resource allocation
Manage pickers’ performance and service levels
Investigate and resolve store claims and incidents promptly
Oversee picking KPIs (productivity, accuracy, timelines) for on-time fulfillment
Maintain housekeeping and workplace safety standards
Manage staff activities to optimize resources and meet targets

Job Requirements

Higher Nitec/Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in logistics/warehouse operations
Familiarity with warehouse management systems preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong leadership and ability to work independently
Detail-oriented, motivated, and results-driven
Good problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team player with strong collaboration skills

Work Location

5 Joo Koon Circle

Working Hours

5 days work week, including weekends/PH.
Rotating off and shift pattern
BAU: Morning - 730am to 503pm and Afternoon - 230pm to 0003am
Peak Period: Night - 730pm to 5am
Shift Allowance and Transport Claim applicable for Afternoon and Night shifts only.
