Job Description

Intern, Operations

You will be attached to Housekeeping Department and report to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Housekeeping during the internship.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping

You will:

• Clean and inspect an allocated number of apartments, and update on the status
• Check and replenish amenities, and manage monthly stock-taking of linens, uniforms, cleaning, guest supplies, kitchen wares and breakfast items
• Ensure that cleanliness standards are met
• Help with monthly linen inventory, linen, staff uniforms and resident laundry
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and electrical equipment are in good working condition
• Report all losses and damages for linen, furniture, fixtures and equipment
• Attend to resident’s complaints and needs
• Schedule and perform periodical cleaning programmes
• Daily checks to ensure no linen or equipment abuse
• Attend staff meetings to discuss company policies and patrons' complaints
