Job Description

• Product Design and Development Support:
  
  

Assist in the design and development of new products, working closely with senior engineers to meet technical specifications and customer requirements.

• Sales Support: Provide technical assistance to the Sales team by addressing inquiries, preparing relevant documentation, and offering solutions to product-related questions.
• Engineering Calculations and Documentation: Perform basic engineering calculations and support the creation of detailed process documentation for new product introductions.
• Product Tables and Data Management: Prepare and update product tables tailored to specific products or project needs, ensuring accuracy and consistency in product data.
• BOM Creation and Review: Assist in the creation and review of Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring product designs align with manufacturing requirements.
• 3D Modeling and CAD Support: Contribute to 3D modeling tasks and design validation using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).
• Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work with the Purchasing team, China-based manufacturing plants, and external vendors, providing technical input and ensuring the manufacturability of designs.
• Testing and Technical Documentation: Support the Testing team by preparing spool drawings and assisting in the development of product manuals and technical literature.
  
  

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
• Approximately 2 years of relevant experience in product development, mechanical design, or engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, mechanical design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with BOM management, ERP systems, and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles is a plus.
