Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Special Education Teacher located at various branches in Kuala Lumpur. The Special Education Teacher will design and implement individualized education programs for students with diverse needs, fostering their intellectual, social, and emotional growth. Responsibilities include teaching adapted middle school-level curriculum, supporting students with disabilities, collaborating with other educators and parents, and utilizing effective communication strategies to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Special Education, Disabilities, and Teaching methodologies
• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices for middle school-aged students
• Strong Communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
• Teaching certification or equivalent qualification in Special Education
• Prior experience working with children in an educational setting is an advantage
