Role : OS Patching

Location : Malaysia

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.

• At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Experience in managing L1/L2 issues (Ability to systematically troubleshoot, research and diagnose root cause for an incident or problem)

• Relevant experience on core Windows (Window 2012 R2, 2016, 2019)

• Experience in any of the following layered products are

added advantage:

o Active Directory

o DNS o DHCP

o Exchange

o RDS / RDWeb

o TCP/IP

o IIS & FTP

o Citrix o Backup Exec

o Veeam

++ Adding on for the mandatory requirements for OS Patching Engineer position.

1. Knowledge of Servers: Such as - Exchange

• DB (Cluster DB, Standalone, Snapshot)
• RDS
• Citrix VDI
• Startup /Shutdown Sequence

1. VMWare / ILO
2. Patching Software (ManageEngine)

• Able to work on standby/shift (Including weekends and after office hours)

• Certified or pursuing certification in: Microsoft MCSE, MCSA, ITIL Foundation

• Knowledge of following are desirable and advantageous:

o Monitoring Tools – Solarwinds

o ITSM Tools – Symphony SummitAI

o Patching & Remote Deployment – ManageEngine Desktop Central Management

o Scripting – Powershell
