Responsibilities

  • Oversee General Ledger and Fixed Assets functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Perform and review bank reconciliations (BOA, HSBC, MBB accounts)
  • Supervise GL & FA Assistants and monitor workflow efficiency
  • Manage journal entries, prepayments, and account coding
  • Support monthly closing, financial reporting, and schedules
  • Prepare provisions, listings, and expense reports for management review
  • Reconcile store accounts, limousine, and shop accounts against GL
  • Assist in budgeting, audits, and statutory/statistics reporting

Requirements

  • Diploma or LCCI in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of General Ledger/AP/Finance experience (hotel experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation and financial closing
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Good communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Ability to supervise and guide junior staff
  • Team player with strong work ethic
